Plan ahead and cut down on holiday stress
Getting ready for a holiday, is a lot of work for anyone. Add a gluten free life style to the mix,
and it sure does make it even more difficult.
My plan to cut down on stress, is to make as much of my holiday menu in advance, as possible.
Today I will make double batch of my meatless tomato sauce for gluten free stuffed shell, that will be served Christmas Day .
I really like the DeBoles and Tinkyada Rice Pasta gluten free pasta, I purchased them early to ensure I won't have to make a last minute menu change.
This sauce freezes well, make a few quarts to keep on hand in the freeze.
You can make any last minute get together festive and fun.
With beautiful red sauce over some pasta, with a bright fresh garden salad.

Gluten Free That's Me
1 can tomato puree 28 0z
1 can diced petite tomatoes 28 0z
3 cups water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon McCormick Italian Herb Seasoning
1/4 teaspoon Oregano
1 Pinch Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
Cook over med to med high heat ...just until it starts to bubble
lower to simmer, cook for a few hours.
